Set in the fast paced materialistic world of the late 1980's the film depicts a destructive love triangle. The young, ruthless characters play out a hard-edged drama of life, love and greed.

Big Time, the visual counterpart to Angel Olsen's album of the same name, is the story of light versus shadow told through a non-linear surrealist dreamspace that poses one central dilemma. ‘What lengths must one go through to let go of the past in order to step out of the darkness and accept one’s true self?’ It’s a story that targets deep rooted complexities such as how our unconscious deals with repressed sexual identity, the hardships of letting go of our past selves in order to step into self actualization, and the guilt we hold when dealing with loss.

Four teenage friends move from Minneapolis to Los Angeles to form a potential chart-topping boy band after Kendall is inadvertently discovered by an eccentric record executive, Gustavo Rocque. Once they learn they’re carrying this precious cargo, the guys get pulled into a madcap mission throughout London, which threatens the onset of their world tour. With the help of teen spy Penny Lane, the guys set out to save Penny’s father MI6 Agent Simon Lane and stop Sir Atticus Moon’s plot to use “The Beetle” to gain world domination.
